Happy Easter from all of us at Full Moon Farm! 🐰

This is why we do what we do. Nutrient dense food grown to honor the soil just tastes better and we love sharing it with you all!

When life gives you a frost and kills your potato plants…harvest the goods! But in all seriousness— a fresh, new potato out of the ground is one of the best things in the world. They are even good simply boiled with the skin + some butter, salt, and fresh herbs so you can truly appreciate the flavor. I could wax (no pun intended) poetic all day. Plus they are so fun to harvest, like finding Easter eggs. #tampa #tampabay #potatoes #tampafood #farmfresh

When our farm gate is open, you can come by anytime to purchase produce from our farmstand. Or send us a DM! A sampling of our current offerings. Not pictured- bok choy, quick choy, purple and green pole beans, lacinato kale, chayote, and spinach. Cheers to eating the rainbow in 2026!

Did you know you can use carrot tops instead of tossing them out? Here’s a recipe below for a delicious chimichurri that was drizzled over roasted radishes and carrots, and over steak.

Recipe below:
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 cup carrot tops very, very finely chopped. Wash and dry well, only use the leaves and thinner stems, omit the large stems
1/4 cup parsley very, very finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 red chilies small, deseeded and finely chopped (about 1 tablespoon finely chopped chili) - we omitted for the kids!
3/4 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon coarse salt level
1/2 teaspoon pepper to taste
Let it sit so the flavors marinate for ideally 2 hours before serving

Kiddos taking “family farm” very seriously 😉. Sharing some of our veggies and flowers at a young entrepreneurship/ makers Christmas market here in Lutz. We love our local community!

We’re into a different kind of cosmo lately 🍸😏.
🌺 Fun fact about cosmos- the more you cut them, the more they bloom! Come by and cut some for your own bouquet!
